Tashkent’s Leading Food Production
Large enterprises in Tashkent produced food products worth 13.9 trillion soums in the first half of 2026, a 12% increase from 2025, setting a new record for the country’s overall output.

Tashkent Region followed with 10.7 trillion soums, Samarkand Region came third with 10.1 trillion soums. Andijan and Fergana each produced 5.6 trillion soums. Bukhara produced 4.7 trillion, Kashkadarya 4.6, and Namangan 4.5 trillion soums.
The Republic of Karakalpakstan and Navoi Region each produced 3.2 trillion soums, Khorezm 2.4, Syrdarya and Surkhandarya each 2.3 trillion soums. Jizzakh Region recorded the lowest production at 2.1 trillion soums.

Overall, Tashkent, Tashkent Region, and Samarkand Region recorded the highest food production volumes among large enterprises in the first half of 2026.
